Listening to: Mustard Pimp - Gold
Watching: DW: Season 4
So I got the flu. The really bad kind that makes you feel like you just got pummeled by a professional wrestler. The problem is that I didn't notice I was sick for about three days because I wrote the congestion off to allergies, and the body aches to the normal brand of pain I have all the time. I didn't notice that something was off until I blew my nose and blood started coming out. *facepalm*
Aaaand they're not testing for Swine Flu anymore since so many people have it, so there's no way for me to determine if going back to class would be safe or not.
Hence, I'm down for the count. Probably for awhile. I'm going to have to drag my happy ass into class at some point this week to retrieve the work I missed, but other than that, I've been lying on the couch and occasionally scribbling something if I feel up to it. I mean "scribble" in the literal sense because Photoshop and my tablet driver are going through a rough period in their relationship, causing everything I draw to look all strange and pixelated. Reinstalling the driver doesn't help. And frankly, I'm too exhausted to mess with it.
In slightly less exciting (at least to you guys) news, I started season 4 of Doctor Who and OMG ALIENS!!!111!1 I feel infinitely less dorky for drawing them all the time and writing stories about them since I've started watching this. The problem is that every time I think about my characters now, I hear their voices in British accents. I'm not sure if that's good or bad or scary or if I should wait for it to go away, or do I even want it to go away at all?
I really want to try to upload some sketches I've had sitting on my scanner while I'm still sick and have some time, but I know I'll want to color them, and my wrists/hands hurt along with everything else...so maybe I should write instead? I don't know. Someone tell me what to do.
